With financial support from Uttarakhand State Aids Control Society (USACS) and technical support from PHFI, Chaukhamba has been implementing the targeted Intervention Programme of NACO under Migrant component in Bahadarabad Block of District Haridwar Uttarakhand. Migrants bear a heightened risk of HIV infection, which results from the condition and structure of the migration process. Evidence from various studies has shown that over 30% male migrants reported sex with either with a sex worker or with non-spousal unpaid female partner in their places of destination. We are working on 17260 migrants population till February 2019.
